As the player collects more pages, the music becomes more tense and the Slenderman becomes faster. Armed with only a flash light and your skinny legs, the player must collect these eight pages, all the while being stalked by a tall, faceless, suited figure that can only move when not observed (similar to that of the Weeping Angels in Doctor Who). The player character enters a fenced off forest in the middle of the night, in search of eight pages that are scattered all around the map. Slender: The Arrival is a prequel to the extremely popular and terrifying game Slender: The Eight Pages, which went completely viral a few years ago. Parsec Productions and Blue Isle Studios, has announced that Slender: The Arrival will hit Steam this Halloween with new content.
