The discontinued desktop app is no longer in use So instead, it is wise that the company built everything into the addons/extensions to keep things internal to the browser.
Likely because certain browsers make it a little difficult to send data to and from applications that are external to the browser. Instead, users are to use the individual browser addons/extensions that the company feels to be more efficient for both function and development. There will no longer be any support or updates for the app and it should automatically kick you out from using it. The company reached out to subscribers via email to let them know that the desktop app will be officially dropped as of today.
